OK, I’m not making any promises here – and the Possessionista is way better at this than me, I recommend e-mailing her for all your style stalking inquiries – but Jess left me a comment on this post asking if I knew where she could find the yellow dress Ali wore on the plane date in The Bachelor’s season 14, episode 2. And I did just a little bit of searching and found what (I think) is the exact dress. It’s by Hot From Hollywood, available at amazon.com for around $40 bucks (depending on color), and while I couldn’t find the yellow online, it gives yellow as a color option in the description, so I guess it’s out there somewhere… Anyways, it has pockets, ties in the back, and pretty much looks exactly like the one Ali wore.

OK, I promise this is the last Jillian style post I’ll put up. 
Well…maybe.
Although it was painful at times, I finally watched the premiere of The Bachelor last night. I was literally hiding under a blanket during moments because I was so embarrassed for some of the girls. The cheesy gimmicks during the introductions at the beginning…wow, just wow. The one bright, sparkly moment in the show was when Jillian and Ed came on the show to interview the girls. Not only were they funny and cute and wonderful, but seriously, that DRESS. I’m in love. And it’s not with Jake or Ed or Jason – it’s with that sweet little sparkly number by Alice + Olivia. (And thank you, again, Possessionista for the info/link.) Yes, it is sold out. But there are so many other short, sequined tank dresses out there right now. Like this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, you get the idea. :)

BIG coincidence…I was going to put up a summer dresses post later today, and then this morning I saw this comment from Tracy on Jilted Jillian’s Dress….
“I have the dress Jillian wore at her last rose ceremony – juniors size 9, never worn, tags on . . . it came in 2 color ways, the one i have is blue, red and white. It is darling but i don’t have the cleavage for it ! Let me know “

For those wondering about the gold watch and boots…I don’t know if I will devote much time to finding these accessories…but I will keep my eyes open. I DID, however, find the black sequin dress Jillian wore when she was announced as the next Bachelorette on the After the Final Rose (part 2? 68? whatev).

I will do my best to find some of the other popular dresses and boots that Jillian wore on The Bachelor…but it’s no easy task!
Using my mad investigative skills (reading interviews, blog comments, etc.), I HAVE found some of Jillian’s favorite stores, but I’ve still not hit the jackpot as far as finding her specific dresses. There are two major reasons for this: first, she said herself in an interview that she is a bargain shopper – and older/unknown designer duds are more difficult to find; secondly, she lives in Canada – so many of the stores and brands aren’t available in the States (and using Google.ca or eBay.ca are going to be more productive than their U.S. counterparts). So, according to my blog stats, a lot of the people stumbling onto my site are looking for what The Bachelor girls wear to the rose ceremonies. I decided that as a courtesy to these Bachelor fashion-obsessed searchers I would try to post some info about the outfits. It’s taken some detective work (especially since I don’t watch show), but i did find the dress she wore to her final ceremony. It’s the Guess “Renee” dress. See photo of Jillian below.
