I’m spending this weekend relaxing with my family in Pismo Beach, probably my favorite place to be. Not exactly the most glamorous California coastal town, but definitely the one nearest to my heart. We’re staying at a friend of the family’s house I’ve been staying at since as long as I can remember, and everything about it brings back so many fond memories. Since the weather usually stays in the 50s (overcast, salty, I love it!) and I hope to spend most of the time eating fresh fish tacos (and other homemade delights from my mom and grandma), playing in the sand with my adorable little cousins, playing various games (gin rummy, monopoly, bananagrams) with the fam, and painting – I thought I’d post a few cozy (but cute) pieces I will be lounging around the house in for the fourth. This first one (Aritzia, of course) is too perfect, and because it’s a grey hoodie I’m powerless against it. “All Day I Dream About the Ocean.” How cute is that?

I wear a scarf pretty much everyday anyways, but especially in breezy beach weather. I thought this light blue one was cute before I zoomed in and realized it has a shell design on it – fabulous!

I love my black American Apparel leggings. They can be completely casual with an oversized sweatshirt and Uggs while I’m hanging in the house and then If I throw on a nice sweater with some ballet flats I can wear them out to dinner. I like the zipper on these Free People ones.

I tried not to pick ANOTHER grey sweater…but I had to include a chunky belted sweater, so I picked this soft cream Marc by Marc Jacobs one. Don’t you just want to snuggle in it?

I love the first sweatshirt! I spend most of my life dreaming about the ocean. You have to get your mom to take a picture of you at the beach house, lounging in these adorable clothes!

OMG – Thanks to your post about Aritzia (Jillian’s clothes) I called today to order 4 pieces! Now I may just have to call to order the grey Ocean hoodie too. I LOVE the ocean and I LOVE grey clothes. Those Uggs are awesome!
