Guglielmo Winery and Almond Champagne

17 Mar

gugIf you ever find yourself in Morgan Hill (squeezed between Gilroy, Garlic Capital of the World, and San Jose, home of the Sharks and the Winchester Mystery House), be sure to stop by Guglielmo Winery on East Main Ave., across from Live Oak High School.

The winery has a really informative tasting (free for wine club members + friends) that includes six different wines and crackers. My personal favorite is the almond champagne. It’s not too sweet, but you can really taste the almonds. They also have champagne crackers for sale in the store that are perfectly paired with the bubbly. I brought two bottles back!
