I will begin by saying that I love love love Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. In fact, I love all movies directed by Miss Coppola. But specifically in this film I was mesmerized by the music, the colors, the soft glow, the costumes….oh, the costumes…
Secondly, I love Christian Louboutin‘s sexy red-soled pumps and peep-toes and anything else his glorious French hands and imagination create…
So, when Ryker and I were at South Coast Plaza Valentine’s weekend and he pointed out a sign announcing … pause, sigh … The Shoe King Himself coming to that very mall to sign shoes promoting the U.S. debut of his Special Edition Marie Antoinette-inspired collection (only 36 pairs of each color were made – pink, blue and yellow) … pause, try to catch my breath … you can imagine my excitement. Well, the signing was yesterday, and I couldn’t exactly justify taking a day off of work to oogle $6,000 shoes … so alas, drool with me at the royal wonders below.
