Lululemon Athletica (pronounced “lulu-lemon”) opened its La Jolla location October 3. Other nearby locations include a showroom in Del Mar and a store in the Carlsbad Forum. This super figure flattering/smart line of yoga and athletic clothing/accessories for men and women is EXTREMELY popular in Canada (Founder Chip Wilson is from Vancouver). A day didn’t pass while I was in Kelowna that I didn’t see a woman walk or jog by in a sweatshirt or workout pants with the trademark “A” logo. Every single detail of a Lululemon item is thought-out and made specifically for a fitness-filled lifestyle. I have a white Lululemon sweatshirt that was a gift from Ryker’s mom and I can’t wait to check out the new location for some more pieces - I’m sure it will motivate me hit the gym.
